Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 9 dated 20.1.2015 under Section 406, 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Women, District Amritsar City.

While issuing notice of motion, following order was passed by this Court on 12.2.2015:- "Learned counsel, inter alia, contended that although petitioner is not at fault but still he is ready to amicably settle the matter with the complainant.

Heard.

Issue notice of motion to the respondent as well as to the complainant.

Crl. Misc. No. M-4676 of 2015 -2At this stage, Mr. J.S. Sekhon, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, on behalf of the State & Mr. J.S. Thind, Advocate, on behalf of complainant, appear, accept notices and seek time to argue the matter. Taking into consideration the matrimonial disputes, the parties are directed to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court on 03.03.2015 for amicable settlement, as prayed for.

File be sent there.

Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation before the next date of hearing. In the event of his arrest, the Arresting Officer would admit him to bail on his furnishing adequate bail and surety bonds in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- to his satisfaction." During the pendency of the petition, the case was referred to Mediation and Conciliation Centre. Parties have amicably settled their dispute before Mediation and Conciliation Centre.

Accordingly, interim bail granted by this Court to the petitioner vide order dated 12.2.2015 is made absolute. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
