       The petitioner has filed this petition for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the impugned order dated 02.05.2023 vide which the claim of the petitioner has been wrongly rejected by the authorities.

Learned Assistant Advocate General appearing for the respondent-State of Punjab, at the very outset, objected to the entertainability of the petition on the ground that under Clause 14 of the policy, there is a remedy available with the petitioner of filing second appeal before the Secretary, Department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Punjab.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for and is permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to avail of the said remedy of filing the second appeal before the Appellate Authority. As prayed, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
