Present writ petition has been filed for directing the official respondents to release Rs.50,00,000/- (Fifty Lakh rupees only) as a part of the grant in favour of petitioner Panchayat received for the village Agwar Lopon to commemorate the 550th birth celebration of Sh. Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Further prayer has been made for deciding the representation dated 15.07.2020 (Annxure P-13) by passing a speaking order.

Learned State counsel has reiterated that the grant as prayed for in the present petition has already been released to the RITTU 2023.12.21 11:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Panchayat, therefore, the present petition is rendered infructuous and the same may be disposed of as such.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.6 has submitted that the amount has been released and utilized as well for the development work of the village.

In view of the above position, the present petition is disposed of as infructuous. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to avail the alternative remedy as available to it in accordance with law.
