The limited prayer made in the present writ petition is for expeditious disposal of SA No.37 of 2020, which is pending before the Debts Recovery Tribunal-II, Chandigarh.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has appended the order sheets as Annexure P-13 which reveal that the matter is simply being adjourned on every date.

Section 17(5) of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 provides for disposal of such applications within a period of 60 days and at best within a period of 04 months.

In view of the above, there would be no requirement for issuance of notice to the other side. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the Debts Recovery Tribunal-II, Chandigarh to decide YOGESH SHARMA 2026.04.29 11:35 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.
