PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) This is a petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking directions for expeditious disposal of the petitioner's Criminal Complaint bearing CRM No.28467/2022 titled as "Developer Group India Pvt. Ltd. vs. Kulwinder Singh Sandhu" pending adjudication before the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Ludhiana.

On 17th of May, 2022, the matter was first taken up by the JMIC, Ludhiana and status report was called from the concerned SHO for 24th of May, 2022. In the meantime, the concerned Presiding Officer got transferred and the matter was thereafter adjourned to 1st of June, 2022. 3.
Ld. Counsel for the petitioner submits that even on 1st of June, 2022 the status report was not filed and the matter was adjourned to 2nd of June, 2022 and, thereafter, to 6th of June, 2022 i.e. today. On asking of the Court, Mr. Sukhbeer Singh, Asstt. Advocate General, Punjab appears and accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2.

This Court is satisfied that the matter is being dealt with expeditiously by the concerned Magistrate and no further directions are required to be passed in the present case. However, keeping in view the nature of controversy involved, respondent No.2 (Station House Officer, Police Station Ladhowal) is directed to file status report before the Ld. Trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned by the next date of hearing i.e. 8th of June, 2022.
