(ORAL) This petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioner seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 102 dated 28.08.2014 registered under Sections 302/324 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Police Station Sri Hargobindpur, Tehsil Batala, District Gurdaspur.

The FIR was registered in respect of the incident dated 28.8.2014 for offence under Sections 302/324 read with Section 34 IPC on the same day. The petitioner is also one of the accused named in the FIR and had played a specific role for causing injury to complainantHarjit Singh with a knife on the left side of chest. In view of the above, there is no ground to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner.

Dismissed.
