1. The petitioners have approacfhed this Court seeking issuance of directions to the respondents to protect their lives and liberty as they apprehends threat to the same.
2. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without commenting anything as regards the merits of the assertions made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Superintendent of Police (HQ), Anti Corruption Bureau, Sector 23, Panchkula, to get the representation dated 03.05.2023 (Annexure P-2) examined qua the limited extent of the alleged threat perception of the petitioners in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioners, then necessary steps warranted under law be taken thereupon so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner.
3. It is however, clarified that:

CRWP-4617-2023 (O&M) ( 2 ) 2023:PHHC:067934 i) the aforesaid order shall not be construed to confer any kind of immunity upon the petitioners, in case it is found that they have committed any wrong;
ii) that the aforesaid order shall not be interpreted to mean that the petitioners are not to abide by law. In case they are required to be associated with any inquiry or investigation by the police, they would be required to cooperate with the same;
iii) that the aforesaid order is not to be construed as any immunity to petitioners from their arrest, in case any cognizable offence is alleged to be committed by them and they are required to be arrested for the same, in accordance with law.
4.
