Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to step up the pay of the petitioner equal to her junior belonging to Scheduled Caste category, in terms of Instructions dated 14.03.2017 on account of the aforesaid official having been granted accelerated promotion against the roster point. 2.
Learned State counsel has produced copies of orders passed during the pendency of the present petition dated 07.10.2020 and 04.05.2022, as per which, pay of the petitioner for the post of Senior Assistant has been made equal but not for the Superintendent, in wake of which learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would make the fresh representation based on the relief granted so far to the post of Senior Assistant concerned and also relying on the relief granted to similarly situated employees vide office order dated 11.01.2019, Annexure P-11, which may be directed to be decided in a time bound manner.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents that in case the petitioner submits a representation, the same shall be decided within a period of 04 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to her and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to her interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
