Present petition has been filed seeking issuance of direction to learned trial Court, Ludhiana to decide the Complaint under Section 138 of NI Act, filed by respondent No.2 against the petitioner bearing COMA No.47980 of 2023 dated 18.08.2023 in time bound manner expeditiously.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the case before the trial Court has been adjourned on various occasions for crossexamination of CWs, however, CWs are not turning up for cross examination and the case has been getting adjourned. He thus, prays that the trial Court be directed to expedite the trial. 3.

Learned counsel for the State, at the outset, on instructions, has submitted that the petitioner is facing prosecution ina complaint case filed by respondent No.2 in the year 2023 in which evidence of the complainants are going on.

In view of the submissions made by learned State counsel, it is apparent that the complainant evidence is going before the trial Court and thus, this Court refrains itself from going into the merits of the case. However, learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same expeditiously in accordance with law. 7.
Disposed of, accordingly.
