(ORAL) The petitioners herein are seeking a direction to the respondents to grant them benefit of 23 year advance promotional increment(s) especially in view of the judgments passed by this Court in CWP-201392015 titled as Chiman Singh vs Punjab State Power Corporation and orhters, decided on 29.02.2016, and CWP-18567-2016, titled as Gurcharan Singh vs Punjab State Power Corporation and others, decided on 27.03.2018, Anenxures P-12 and P-13 respectively, whereby the similar situated persons have already been granted the aforesaid benefit and with a further prayer to grant all arrears of pay and consequential benefits alongwith interest @ 12% p.a.
The petitioners filed various representations and also sent a legal notice, dated 16.03.2020 but has not received any reply and nor any relief has been granted to them till date.
In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of MEENU 2020.08.10 14:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
CWP-11599-2020 -2with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice, dated 16.03.2020, by way of a speaking order within two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and if they are found entitled to the relief, the same be granted to them forthwith.
