Petitioner has filed instant petition under Section 482 of .$45$6)2$6 .) .+""7 for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.21 dated 07.03.2025 under Sections 376 and 506 of IPC and Section 6 of POCSO Act, 2012 registered at Police Station Sudhar Ludhiana, Rural (Annexure P-1). 2.

As per facts of the case, FIR has been lodged on the statement of prosecutrix 'PK' aged about 17 years. She stated that she was studying in 11th class. She came in contact with Parampreet Singh through Instagram on 16.01.2023 and they developed liking for each other. They were having love relationship and often used to talk through whatsapp and instagram. With the passage of time, he started blackmailing her for sending her nude photographs and videos. He disclosed that he was serving in Army for the last 7-8 years. He came on leave in July, 2023 and called her to Sudhar to talk. She accompanied him in his car who took her to Torson Hotel. He

" offered her coffee. He started behaving in obscene manner and tried to develop physical relations. She tried to stop him, on this, he gave her beating and had forcibly maintained physical relations with her. He also clicked her obscene photographs. From July, 2023 to November, 2024 he maintained physical relations with her by threatening to viral her nude photographs and videos. He had also threatened her by showing a weapon. She came to know about her viral video and finally she disclosed everything to her mother and the matter was reported to the police.  3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner pointed out that he was granted interim bail by the Coordinate Bench vide order dated 16.04.2025 and he has already joined the investigation. He is ready to abide by the terms and conditions of bail order. He further informed that at present testimony of victim has been recorded as PW1 and her mother 'SK' PW2 where they have not supported the allegations.

Detailed status report has been filed. Allegations narrated in the FIR are confirmed. Prosecutrix had produced one pendrive having her nude photographs and videos which were taken into police possession. It is confirmed that petitioner has joined investigation and even otherwise challan was presented on 05.05.2025. Charges were framed and now prosecution evidence is being recorded.

I have considered the aforesaid factual position. Petitioner has joined investigation and at present challan is already presented and the prosecution evidence is being recorded. Today, counsel for petitioner has placed on record the testimony of victim recorded in examination-in-chief as PW1 as well as testimony of her mother PW2 who did not support the

7 allegations detailed in the FIR. Trial in this case may take some time. Considering the aforesaid factual position, anticipatory bail petition filed by petitioner is allowed and the interim bail already granted vide order dated 16.04.2025 is confirmed subject to the conditions enshrined under Section 482 (2) of .$45$6)2$6 .) .+""7!
