Learned counsel submits that for the purpose of removing anomaly in pay between the petitioner and the juniors to him that had occurred on account of implementaiton of 4 years ACP in the revised pay scales, legal notice dated 10.01.2024, Annexure P-6, has been served but the same has yet not evoked any response. He submits, on instructions, that the petitioner would be satisfied if a time bound direction is given to the respondents to decide the legal notice of the petitioner. In view of the aforesaid and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 10.01.2024, Annexure P-6, within a period of six months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to her, and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to her interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress.
