Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Prabhjit Singh son of petitioner is involved in number of cases while petitioner is not involved in any case. In order to procure the present of Prabhjit Singh, police is harassing the petitioner and her family members by calling them to the police station time and again. A representation (Annexure P-1) in this regard has been made to the police.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran to look into the representation Annexure P-1 of petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to the petitioner from legal action taken in any civil, criminal or other proceedings initiated/pending against him in accordance with law.
