Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of directions upon respondents No. 1 to 3 to conduct fair and impartial investigation in case FIR No. 0003 dated 7.1.2019, under Sections 363, 366-A IPC and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (for short 'the POCSO Act'), registered at Police Station Jhander, District Amritsar (Rural). Moreover, the petitioner also seeks for the issuance of directions upon the respondents concerned, to take action on his representation and to protect his life and liberty at the hands of the respondents concerned.

Short reply by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Ajala, Amritsar (Rural) has been filed, which is taken on record.

It has been stated in the reply (supra), that during the course of investigation, the prosecutrix could not be recovered and vide order dated Gurpreet Singh 2025.05.29 16:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
CRM-M-21538-2019 -25.12.2023 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amritsar, respondent No. 4 was declared as proclaimed offender. Furthermore, it has also been stated therein that during investigation, Section 6 of the POCSO Act was deleted vide G.D. No. 33 dated 24.2.2024. Moreover, a perusal of para 7 of the reply also shows that challan against respondent No. 4 has been filed in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class Ajnala (Amritsar) on 18.4.2024 and out of 09 prosecution witnesses, only one witness has been examined under Section 299 Cr.P.C.

In addition, in para 8 of the reply (supra) it has been echoed that insofar as the protection of life and liberty of the petitioner is concerned, the police authorities of Amritsar (Rural) are committed and duty bound to protect his life and liberty. Moreover, in the above reply, the answering respondents also undertook to take immediate necessary action to ensure the safety of life and liberty of the petitioner and to provide adequate security to him, if need arises, but in accordance with the relevant rules and procedure. 5.
The learned counsel for the petitioner does not controvert the above averments made in the reply (supra).

Consequently, in view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of.
