In the present writ petition, the petitioners are praying for issuance of a direction to the respondents to release the petitioners' matured amount of FDRs/SB lying with the respondents, along with interest @ 12% per annum.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, on instructions from petitioners, submits that at this stage, petitioners will be satisfied if the present writ petition be treated as a representation and direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide the same in a time bound manner.
