(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.74 dated 26.06.2021 under Section 498-A IPC registered at Police Station Dhariwal, District Gurdaspur. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR in question emanates from a marital discord between the petitioner and his wife i.e. the complainant. He further submits that in compliance of order dated 26.10.2021 the petitioner had joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency. Therefore, the present petition be allowed. Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Yosouf Masih, does not dispute the factum of the petitioner having joined RUPINDER KAUR 2022.02.15 16:01 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
