ANIL KSHETARPAL, J(Oral) The learned counsel representing the parties are ad idem that the writ petition is required to be disposed of in terms of the decision in CWP-29-2023, titled as "Kuljeet Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab and others", decided on 10.01.2023, which reads as under:- "1. On 06.01.2023, the following order was passed:- "The petitioners pray for issuance of directions to the respondents to grant benefit of the Dearness Allowance @ 119% w.e.f. 01.07.2015. The petitioners claim that the petitioners in the Civil Writ Petition No. 25992 of 2022, who are identically situated, have been granted the aforesaid benefit, however, it was restricted only to those petitioners while forcing the other employees to file cases in the Courts. Notice of motion. On the request of this Court, Mr. Charanpreet Singh, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. List on 10.01.2023 for final disposal, in the urgent list."

2. Mr. R.K. Kapoor, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, representing the State of Punjab admits that the State Government employees are entitled to the grant of benefit of Dearness Allowance @ 119% w.e.f. 01.07.2015. He undertakes that not only the petitioners, but all the other similarly situated employees shall be granted the benefit within a period of three months, from today positively, as there cannot be discrimination between the various identically situated employees. CWP-10297-2023 -23. In view of the aforesaid facts, no further order is required to be passed in the writ petition. Hence, the present writ petition is disposed of."

Ordered accordingly.
