AMOL RATTAN SINGH, J (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have already put in more than about four months of actual custody even as per the custody certificate filed by learned State counsel in court today.
Though it is seen that there are seven other FIRs shown to be registered against the petitioners, all under similar provisions and all dated 25.8.2017, learned State counsel submits that the petitioners were conspirators in the riots that took place after the conviction of Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh. Without making any further comment on the actual involvement or non-involvement of the petitioners in the occurrence in question, they having already remained in custody for more than four months, the petition is allowed.
