(ORAL) Prayer in the first petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioners in case FIR No. 62 dated 28.03.2024 registered under Sections 294, 323, 324, 427, 148, 149 IPC and Sections 354, 452 IPC added later on, at Police Station Basti Bawa Khel, District Jalandhar.

In compliance of order dated 14.05.2024, learned counsel for the State has filed status report dated 03.08.2024 by way of an affidavit of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, West, Jalandhar on behalf of respondent-State in Court today, which is taken on record. A copy thereof has been handed over to learned counsel for the petitioners.
