Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had filed an election petition, which is not being decided and the same is pending consideration with the respondents, hence, respondent No.3 be directed to decide the said election petition in a time bound manner so that the petitioner does not suffer any prejudice. 2.

Mr. Rahul Rampal, learned Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and submits that if both the parties will coordinate and cooperate, all the efforts will be made to decide the election petition within a period of six months from the next date of hearing already fixed before the Election Tribunal. 4.
