Dated Police Station Sections 13.12.2021 Vigilance Bureau, Range Amritsar, District Amritsar 7 P.C. Act, 1988 (as amended by PC (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Seeking directions of this Court to respondents no.1 to 4 to conclude investigation and take action against respondent no.5, the petitioner had come up before this Court by filing the present petition under Section 482 CrPC. 2.

Rejoinder filed by the petitioner in Court is taken on record. 3.

State's counsel, on instructions from Inspector Raman Kumar, submits that the file relating to sanction has been approved and they are going to file report under Section 173 CrPC within 2/3 months.

Given the statement made by the counsel for the State, the present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous. State to ensure filing of report under Section 173 CrPC within the stipulated period. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to come to this Court again in case any concrete steps are not taken within 4 months from today.
