On 05.01.2024 the following order was passed : "Today is the 11th adjournment which has been sought by the learned counsel for the appellant on the ground that the arguing counsel is in personal difficulty. In the interest of justice, adjourned to 15.01.2024. It is made clear that no further adjournment shall be granted on any account."

Today on first call, yet again, a request for an adjournment was made by the learned counsel for the appellant which was declined. Thereafter, on the request of the learned counsel, the matter was passed over. On second call, none has put in appearance on behalf of the appellant. It appears that the appellant is not interested in pursuing the present appeal. In view thereof, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution.

Dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
