Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) This is a petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C seeking regular bail in a case under Sections 22/61/85 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 vide FIR No. 19 dated 1.3.2014 registered against the petitioner at P.S, Dasuya, District Hoshiarpur. Learned State counsel at the outset submits that out of 9 witnesses cited by the prosecution, only two remain to be examined and next date before the trial court is 30.3.2015. Prosecution shall not delay the matter any further.
In view of above, this petition is dismissed at this stage. Petitioner shall, however, be at liberty to file afresh in case trial does not conclude within a period of 4 months.
