(ORAL) In view of the reply filed by the respondent No.2, it has been stated that as per record of re-examination of the documents submitted by the petitioner at the time of scrutiny, it has been found that the petitioner has submitted the undertaking and is found entitled for 5 marks for socio economic criteria. The candidature of the petitioner has been recommended by the Commission for his appointment to the post of male constable.
As per stand taken by the respondent No.2, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been appointed to the post of constable and is entitled for all POONAM BHATT 2023.01.06 16:57 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this Judicial Record/Decree/Document, which is scanned copy of the original
CWP No.13371 of 2019(O&M) -2necessary benefits which have been granted to similarly situated candidates as there was no fault of the petitioner in depriving him of the appointment at the relevant time. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take all corrective steps in treating the petitioner at par with other similarly situated candidates who have been appointed to the post/cadre.
