(Oral) Petitioner by way of present petition seeks pre-arrest bail in a case FIR No.77 dated 09.06.2014 registered under Sections22-61-85 of NDPS Act, at Police Station Sudhar, District Ludhiana (Rural), as trial court has issued warrants for securing his presence as he remained absent from the court without intimation.

On last date of hearing, this court had directed the petitioner to deposit Rs.5,000/- with the District Legal Services Authority, Ludhiana, and thereafter, to surrender before the trial court/Duty Magistrate, within 02 weeks who would release him on interim bail on furnishing bail bonds. No information is forthcoming whether the petitioner has acted in accordance with the order on November 30, 2017. Petition is disposed of with a direction that in case the petitioner does the needful within 02 weeks from today, order dated November 30, 2017, shall remain operative. In case of failure to do so, the order shall cease to operate on expiry of this period.
