(Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No.274 dated 28.08.2017 under Section 61-1-14 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 at Police Station Nakodar Sadar, District Jalandhar Rural.

Learned counsel for the State on instructions from HC Amrik Singh, submits that pursuant to order dated November 30, 2017, petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated November 30, 2017, is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
