(Oral) This petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.233 dated 26.06.2014, under Sections 21/61/85 of NDPS Act and Section 379/411 IPC, registered at Police Station Civil Line, District Amritsar City.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was a pillion rider and the motorcycle belongs to co-accused Satnam Singh, who has been granted regular bail vide CRM-M-18984-2020, decided on 17.08.2020.
Learned State counsel is not disputing the above said order. Learned State counsel has informed that the petitioner was declared Proclaimed Offender vide order dated 01.12.2018 and he surrendered on 24.02.2020.

CRM No. M-22419 of 2020 -2Keeping in view the period of incarceration of the petitioner and the fact that trial may still take some time for its conclusion, this court feels that there is no need to detain the petitioner any longer. Accordingly, this petition is allowed and petitioner is ordered to be enlarged on bail, subject to his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate, Amritsar.
