Mr. Vikram Choudhari, Sr. Advocate with Ms. Isha Goyal, Advocate, for the petitioners Mr. Saurav Khurana, DAG, Punjab, for the State Mr. Sidharth Sharma, Advocate, for the complainant Fateh Deep Singh, J. (Oral) Learned State Counsel, on instructions from ASI Kulwinder Singh, PS Fatthu Dhinga, District Kapurthala submits that the petitioners have since joined the investigation and are no longer required for further investigation and nothing is to be recovered from them and that he has no objection if the interim order is made absolute. However, counsel for the complainant submits that challan in this case has not been presented by the police.
In the light of the statement made by learned State counsel, the interim bail granted to the petitioners vide order dated 22.10.2018 is made absolute till submission of report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. (challan). Thereafter, petitioners will be permitted to furnish regular bail bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
