**** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (ORAL) Aggrieved by sitting over on the application made by the petitioner's wife to the Jail Superintendent way back on 25.05.2022, the petitioner has come up before this Court seeking parole.

Learned State counsel strenuously opposed the present petition on the ground that the application for parole can be decided and this Court has no jurisdiction to grant parole.

Be that as it may, let the concerned Superintendent decide Annexure P-1 positively within seven working days from today by passing a speaking and reasoned order. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the rejection before this Court.
