Pirthi Ram v. State Of Punjab And ORS.
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-45472 of 2017 Date of Decision: 30.11.2017 Pirthi Ram ....Petitioner
Versus
State of Punjab and others ....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN Present: - Mr. Naveen Sharma Advocate, for the petitioner. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 not to harass the petitioner unnecessarily.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka, is directed to look into representation dated 17.10.2017 (Annexure P-2) moved by the petitioner, in a time-bound manner. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka, to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 17.10.2017 (Annexure P-2) after hearing the petitioner by passing a speaking order within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
