(Oral) Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has nothing to do with the dispute which is their between respondent No.5 and respondent No.6 regarding payment of certain money for which the petitioner simply stood as surety and gave one security cheque. Counsel for the petitioner further submits that now petitioner is being unnecessarily harassed by the local police with regard to aforesaid transaction and in this regard petitioner has given representation dated 12.04.2024(Annexure P-2) to respondent No.2 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural) but the police authorities failed to take any action in this regard. Counsel for the petitioner further submits that petitioner will be satisfied if respondent No.2 is directed to look into the matter and to consider and decide representation dated 12.04.2024 (Annexure P-2) submitted by the petitioner, in a given time frame, in accordance with law.

In view of above and without going into the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural) to consider and decide representation dated 12.04.2024 (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
