The prayer made in the present petition is for release of the amount deposited by the petitioners towards Contributory Provident Fund from 01.01.2009 to 30.11.2016 along with interest accrued thereon. Legal Notice dated 28.02.2020 (Annexure P/6) is also stated to have been served on the respondents in this regard, but the grievance of the petitioners has not been redressed.

The present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents that they shall consider and decide the claim of the petitioners and, if petitioners are found entitled to the amount claimed by them, take necessary steps to release the payment at the earliest as per law.
