This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution for issuance of writ, order or direction to respondents No. 2 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family which is danger at the hands of respondents No. 5 to 9 as guaranteed under Article 21 of Constitution of India, to direct official respondents to conduct far, impartial, independent and time bound investigation in FIR No. 316 dated 07.12.2025 under Section 105 of BNSS (Corresponding to Section 304 IPC) at Police Station Kartarpur, District Jalandhar Rural by constituting a SIT or by transferring the investigation to an independent agency, to nominate private respondents and other unknown persons as accused in the abovesaid FIR and to take legal action against the private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 06.03.2026 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural but no action has been taken so far. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural to consider and decide the representation 06.03.2026 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
