**** HARI PAL VERMA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of direction to the official respondents to properly investigate the FIR No. 55 dated 11.5.2016, registered under Section 420 IPC at Police Station Adampur, District Jalandhar.

Learned State counsel on the basis of reply and the instructions of ASI Harinder Singh states that during investigation the allegations of cheating have been found only against Arjun Singh Parmar i.e. husband of the complainant-Rimple Minhas and accordingly, the FIR was registered against him only. Though, in the complaint, allegations have been made against other family members of Arjun Singh Parmar but no such evidence comes to the police. However, in case any such incriminating evidence comes against the other family members i.e. father, mother and brother of the accused, the police will investigate the matter.
