Prayer in the present petition has been made for directing the official respondents No.3 & 4 to submit the status report/final report in case FIR No.0026 dated 07.03.2024 registered under Section 420 of IPC and Section 36(3) of Punjab Apartment and Property Regulation Act 1995, registered at Police Station Division No.2 District Pathankot before learned Area Magistrate or concerned Court with a further prayer to decide the representation dated 23.01.2026 (Annexure P-3). 2.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the FIR has been registered on 07.03.2024 but even after about 02 years of registration of FIR, no final report/status report of the case has been presented before learned Illaqa Magistrate, concerned. 3.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with direction to the Investigating Agency to conclude the investigation in the present case within a period of 02 months from today.
