Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of an appropriate direction to official respondents No.2 and 3 to take necessary action on the representation dated 08.03.2022 (Annexure P1) submitted by the petitioner for registration of a criminal case against private respondents No.4 to 6.

Learned State Counsel informs that in pursuance to order dated 02.06.2022 passed by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, inquiry in the matter has been conducted by Inspector General of Police, Border Range, Amritsar whereupon report dated 03.01.2023 has been submitted. Said report dated 03.01.2023 is taken on record. Relevant part of said report is as under:- "The enquiry team has summoned the petitioners as well as respondent Navroop Kaur and their statements were recorded. After examining the facts of this matter, the enquiry team has submitted its report to the undersigned vide No. 448-5E dated 14.10.2022 with its SUNENA 2023.10.06 17:08 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

2023:PHHC:129249 conclusion/recommendation that prima facie No criminal offence is made out, therefore no action is required to be taken at this stage. The undersigned is in agreement with the enquiry report submitted by the enquiry team".

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the above, no further direction is required to be issued in the present matter and the same may be disposed of being rendered infructuous. In view of above submissions, present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
