(Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No.0223 dated 05.11.2017 under Sections 61 of Punjab Excise Act at Police Station Maur, District Bathinda. Learned counsel for the State submits that pursuant to order dated December 01, 2017, petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, order dated December 01, 2017, is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
