Dated Police Station Sections 21.10.2022 Sadar Raikot, District Ludhiana Rural 406, 420, 120-B IPC The petitioners, arraigned as accused in the above captioned FIR, has come up before this Court under Section 482 CrPC for quashing of the FIR and all consequential proceedings.

However, counsel for the petitioner admits that the matter has been referred by Hon'ble the Supreme Court to a larger Bench in J. Vedhasingh Vs. R.M. Govindan & ors. 2022 SCC Online SC 1010 and therefore, he submits that he be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh one after decision of said case with additional points, if any. However, he submits that till the decision of the said case/point, personal appearance of the petitioners be exempted before the trial Court.
