Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to pay interest @ 18% for compensation/damages and litigation expenses etc. to the petitioner for withholding the ex-gratia grant for more than 18 years. 2.

Reliance has been placed on pendency of CWP-14435-2003, which stands decided on 11.09.2003.

Learned State counsel submits that pursuant to the directions to above speaking order, in para 2 of the preliminary submission of the written statement dated 19.01.2005 filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3, it has been stated that the Principal of Baba Shihan Singh Gill Government College, Sidhsar was directed to pay ex-gratia grant, however, there was no provision to pay interest on the said amount and the petitioner was held not entitled to the same. 4.
