Prayer in the present Writ Petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India is for seeking writ of Mandamus for directing respondent to issue duplicate Registration Certificate bearing number 1001-A of 1981 dated 15.09.1981. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in respect of the grievance, as made in this petition, the petitioner has already made a fresh representation dated 21.06.2023, which is still pending consideration before the concerned authority and he prays that necessary direction be issued to the respondents to consider and decide the said representation dated 21.06.2023.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondent-U.T., Chandigarh submits that in case, any such representation has been made, HIMANI GUPTA 2023.07.21 13:58 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/judgment High Court, Chandigarh

In view of the above submission made by respective counsels and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case; I deem it appropriate to dispose this petition with a direction to respondent herein to consider and decide the above referred representation dated 21.06.2023, (which is stated to be filed by petitioner) by passing a speaking order within a period of six weeks from today.
