Petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.130 dated 08.07.2020 registered under Sections 18 and 22 of NDPS Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Goraya, District Jalandhar Rural, Punjab.
Notice of motion was issued on 14.08.2020 on the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that each tablet of Hydrochlride Diphenoxylater Atropine is stated to be 2.05 mg and, therefore, the recovered contraband would not fall in the category of commercial quantity.

The arrest of the petitioner was stayed till the next date of hearing. On the adjourned date i.e. 19.08.2020, the petitioner was directed to join the investigation in terms of Section 438(2) (i) to (iv) Cr.P.C.
Mr. R.P. Singh, DAG, Punjab on instructions from ASI Jagdish Raj states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is no more required for further investigation of the case. In view of aforesaid factual position, the interim order dated 19.08.2020 is made absolute. However, petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
Petition stands disposed of.
