In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners, at the instance of respondents No. 4 and 5 and provide adequate security to them. Further, prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to respondent No. 2 to investigate FIR No. 84 dated 24.09.2017 (Annexure P-1), under Sections 325, 341, 323 and 506 read with Section 34 IPC, Police Station Mulepur, District Fatehgarh Sahib, registered against respondents No. 4 and 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the very outset contends that the purpose of the instant petition would be achieved, if, respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib, is directed to supervise investigation in FIR Annexure P-1 and do the needful. 3.

In view of the above, respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib, is directed to supervise investigation in FIR Annexure P-1 and do the needful.
