The petitioner seeks grant of regular bail in respect of the aforementioned FIR.

Learned State counsel has informed that the prosecution evidence already stands concluded and the matter is now fixed before the Trial Court for recording defence evidence.

In view of the aforestated position, this Court does not deem appropriate to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage having regard to the fact that it is a case involving recovery of 'commercial' quantity of contraband. 4.
