Mr. Karan Garg, Advocate, for the petitioner. Rajesh Bhardwaj, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for quashing of FIR No.244 dated 03.12.2026 under Sections 379, 420 IPC, registered at Police Station Patran, District Patiala, and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom. Further prayer has been made for issuance of direction to learned trial Court to consider, accept and pass a reasoned and final order on the third cancellation report dated 01.09.2025 submitted in the said FIR.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been prosecuted in FIR No.244 dated 03.12.2016. It is contended that twice cancellation report has been filed, however, the same was rejected. Now it is the third time the cancellation report has been filed, which is pending adjudication before the Judicial Magistrate concerned.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, present petition is disposed of with a direction to learned trial Court concerned before whom the cancellation report is pending adjudication, to decide the same expeditiously by way of passing a speaking order, in accordance with law.
