Saravjit Kaur and another ......Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE RAJESH BHARDWAJ

Present:

........

RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for quashing of order dated 06.08.2018 passed by learned JMIC, Ludhiana.

On 01.02.2019, counsel for the petitioner gave undertaking to clear the entire arrears of maintenance due and the case was adjourned to 15.03.2019. Thereafter, opportunities were granted time and again, however, the order was not complied with. On 18.11.2019, the Court again directed the petitioner to comply with the order within a month and adjourned the case and thereafter it was submitted on 24.01.2020 that the maintenance has been deposited before the Executing Court and time was sought to place on record the certified copy of the same. When the case came up for hearing on 05.03.2020, nobody came to represent the petitioner. When the case taken up today, Mr.Varun Sharma, Advocate, has appeared and sought an adjournment.

From the facts and circumstances, it is apparent that the petitioner is not keen in pursuing this case as till date no compliance of the order dated 01.02.2019 has been shown.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
