The petitioner was dismissed from service on account of lodging of FIR against him without holding any enquiry.

Learned counsel states that the petitioner stands acquitted vide judgment dated 11.03.2025, by learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, and thus prays for reconsideration, his case being on also better footing than those, whose dismissal was based on conviction and on subsequent acquittal from the Appellate Court, the cases were to be reviewed as per instructions dated 05.08.1998 issued in terms of the judgment in the case of Deputy Director of Collegiate Edu. The aforesaid facts having been brought out, during the course of hearing, learned State counsel, on instructions, states that the respondents would not be averse to having a relook at the matter and decide within a period of 4 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner, which satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioner.
