NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the impugned order dated 06.02.2024 (Annexure P-10) issued on 08.02.2024, holding the withdrawal of the benefit of one increment on promotion to the post of Superintending Engineer w.e.f. 02.03.2009, granted to the petitioner in view of instructions dated 27.07.2009. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing the respondents to continue the pay of the petitioner/pension in view of order dated 20.08.2020 (Annexure P-5), after setting-side the impugned order dated 06.02.2024 (Annexure P-10).

After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh one, on the same cause of action, with better particulars.
