(ORAL) Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Hardev Singh, has informed the Court that not only has challan been presented and charges framed in the case at hand but even prosecution evidence is underway and as many as three out of the 54 witnesses cited by the prosecution have been examined.

In the circumstances, learned State counsel submits that no ground is made out for issuance of directions as prayed for. None has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. Dismissed for non-prosecution.
