JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL -.- AMIT RAWAL J.(ORAL) The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C 1973 for issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect her life and liberty from the hands of the private respondents No.4 and 5. The petitioner is stated to be living in a live-in relationship with Jasbir Singh son of Ram Nath, resident of H.No.1037, Village Banwari, Tehsil Rajpura, District Patiala. Respondent Nos.4 and 5 are her brother and they are harassing her and she has apprehension of life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos.4 and 5. In this regard, she has submitted a representation dated 20.12.2016 (Annexure P-2) to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala-respondent No.2, but no action has been taken so far.

The present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala-respondent No.2 to look into the representation of the petitioner and decide the same and if required, provide protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner by providing adequate security.
