**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to release electric connection to the petitioner without any delay.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the bonafide purchaser of flat no.370 (3rd floor) from its original allottee. Share certificate has already been issued in favour of the petitioner in the year 2004 and there is no dispute pending in respect of this flat.

On 16.05.2022, petitioner approached respondent No.2 by way of representation, but no action has been taken so far. On enquiry, it has been revealed that 25 persons filed CWP

-2No.7742 of 2007 titled 'Satinder Pal Singh vs State of Punjab', challenging various actions of the Society in respect of arbitrary allotment of flats by the President, Ex-President and Executive members of the Society. The High Court vide order dated 22.05.2007 had stayed the allotment and delivery of possession. Thereafter, certain directions were issued vide order dated 12.01.2010 and 10.08.2010 and the writ petition was admitted. Directions issued by the Court were not complied with and thereafter, COCP No.241 of 2011 was also filed. Thereafter, bunch of petitions were disposed of by the High Court on 07.11.2012 on the statement made by learned counsel for the respondent- Corporation after verifying the allotment and membership of the writ petitioners. The High Court directed the writ petitioners therein that they should apply for electric connection within specified period whereupon respondentCorporation shall release the same to those writ petitioners within a further specified period.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that similar issue arose in CWP No.2552 of 2022 before this Court and the writ petition was disposed of on 21.02.2022 by directing the respondent No.2 to take an appropriate decision on pending representation filed by the petitioner therein and decide the same within a specified period of two months.

-3Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied in case similar order dated 21.02.2022 is passed in the present writ petition as well. Notice of motion.

In view of facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is also disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to take an appropriate decision on pending representation dated 16.05.2022 filed by the petitioner and decide the same in accordance with law preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 04.07.2022 (RAJ MOHAN SINGH) Jyoti Sharma JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned :
